Bouncy Ball Factory

Geodes are hollow formations that formed millions of years ago in specific types of rock. The Mad Science instructor will help you safely crack open a geode to reveal the crystals that have grown inside and you can take them home!

Deceptive Density

Explore the difference between mass and density. Build a density stacker, and see where different objects float. Try and guess by feel what gases are in different balloons, even if they are all the same size. Guess which objects are heavier, even if they are different in size. Take home a mini-density stacker.

"Do UV What I See" Station

Discover the mysteries of invisible light while experimenting with ultra violet light. See what objects will fluoresce under UV. Learn about the sun's harmful rays as you make your own UV light detector bracelet or key chain. (In sunlight you will see awesome color changes that detect UV radiation.)
